Harnessing Photo‐Energy Conversion in Nanomaterials for Precision Theranostics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Harnessing photo‐energy conversion in nanomaterials enables precision theranostics through light‐driven mechanisms such as photoluminescence, photothermal, photoelectric, photoacoustic, photo‐triggered surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), and photodynamic processes. This review explores six fundamental principles of photo‐energy conversion, recent

Effects of Interfacial Adhesion on Lithium Plating Location in Solid‐State Batteries with Carbon Interlayers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Carbon interlayers can promote the stable cycling of anode‐free solid‐state batteries, but their underlying mechanisms have remained elusive. In this study, a direct correlation is observed between the interfacial adhesion of the carbon interlayer and the location of lithium plating.

Atomic Scale Engineering of Multivalence‐State Palladium Photocatalyst for Transfer Hydrogenation with Water as a Proton Source

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Photocatalytic transfer hydrogenation is achieved over a multivalence‐state palladium photocatalyst, in which protons generated from photocatalytic water splitting are added to unsaturated double bonds. The operando light‐induced Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy confirms the synergistic action between Pd single atoms and nanoparticles,
