Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Electronic structure of highly ordered Sr2FeMoO6: XPS and XES studies
We have investigated the partial densities of states of Sr2FeMoO6 by applying soft x-ray emission spectroscopy (XES) to the Fe L, the Mo M and the O K edges.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

SEM and XES in high beta-gamma radiation fields
Techniques were developed for scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and x-ray energy spectrometry (XES) of samples of irradiated nuclear fuel elements with radiation fields of 35 rad/ks (..beta..,..gamma..) and 0.6 r/ks (..gamma..) at 1 dm.

Insight into Cu-zeolite Automotive Emission Catalysts by Operando XAS and XES
Cu-chabazite zeolites (Cu-SSZ-13) are widely used as catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx by ammonia (NH3-SCR). The SCR reaction mechanism is debated, and elucidating it is essential for the design of improved catalysts and exhaust ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
