Ionizable Lipid‐Dependent Optimization of Steroid Lipid Nanoparticles With Tunable Immunomodulatory Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 56, 8 October 2026.
A novel engineering strategy that establishes material design principles for incorporating anti‐inflammatory steroids into lipid nanoparticles to reduce LNP‐induced inflammation while retaining mRNA delivery. Results are validated in vitro and in three animal models of inflammation and autoimmunity in vivo.

Ultrathin and Flexible Organic Light‐Addressable Potentiometric Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 19, 7 October 2026.
The first ultrathin, fully organic, and flexible light‐addressable potentiometric sensor (LAPS) is demonstrated. With a thickness of only 2.3–2.9 µm, this standalone film offers sensitivity to electrolyte potential and stable performance for over 170 days.

Elucidating the Key Role of Phosphorescent Sensitizers in High‐Performance, Long‐Lifetime Hyperphosphorescent Organic Light‐Emitting Devices Based on a Multi‐Resonance Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence Emitter

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, Volume 10, Issue 10, October 2026.
In hyperphosphorescent OLEDs, the carrier‐trapping characteristics of each phosphor and the asymmetric carrier mobility of the host material are suggested to influence the emission zone distribution, which is closely associated with operational lifetime, leading to an up to eightfold improvement in stability with Ir(ppy)3.

Genetic Structure Along Temperature Gradient in a Recent Invader Cardamine hirsuta in Eastern Japan

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2026.
Cardamine hirsuta has rapidly expanded across a broad climatic gradient in eastern Japan despite its recent introduction. By analyzing genetic structure and climatic associations, we identified multiple genetic clusters with distinct distribution patterns and environmental associations, as well as admixture among clusters in overlapping regions.
