Yang-Baxter equation and representation theory: I

Letters in Mathematical Physics, 1981
The problem of constructing the GL(N,ℂ) solutions to the Yang-Baxter equation (factorizedS-matrices) is considered. In caseN=2 all the solutions for arbitrarily finite-dimensional irreducible representations of GL(2,ℂ) are obtained and their eigenvalues are calculated. Some results for the caseN>2 are also presented.

NEW SOLUTIONS OF THE YANG-BAXTER EQUATION AND THEIR YANG-BAXTERIZATION

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1991
Through the examples associated with simple Lie algebras B2, C2 and D2, an approach of constructing new solutions of the spectral-independent Yang-Baxter equation (i.e. the braid group representations) was shown. These new solutions possess some particular features, such as that they do not have the classical limit in the usual sense of Refs.

SOLUTIONS OF THE YANG-BAXTER EQUATION

Journal of Soviet Mathematics, 1982
We give the basic definitions connected with the Yang-Baxter equation (factorization condition for a multiparticle S-matrix) and formulate the problem of classifying its solutions. We list the known methods of solution of the Y-B equation, and also various applications of this equation to the theory of completely integrable quantum and classical ...
