Slow Rusting in Winter and Facultative Wheat Infected with Yellow Rust
2001Yellow rust of wheat, caused by the fungus Puccinia striiformis West. f. sp. tritici, has been the most devastating wheat disease in the highlands and continental areas of Central and West Asia and North Africa (CWANA) and other world regions with similar environments.

Inheritance of stripe rust (yellow rust) resistance in the wheat cultivar Carstens V
Euphytica, 1993Carstens V, one of the wheat cultivars used to differentiate races of Puccinia striiformis (stripe rust or yellow rust) in Europe, was crossed with stripe rust susceptible cultivars and cultivars with genes for resistance to the disease to determine the genetic basis of its stripe rust resistance.

Race 58C of Puccinia striiformis (wheat yellow rust)
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1970Several samples of wheat yellow rust, collected for the Physiologic Race Surveys, were identified as a biotype of race 58 and named race 58C. The reactions of race 58C are compared with those of race 58. The ability of race 58C to infect varieties with certain genes for resistance is discussed indicating that many wheat varieties are seedling ...

Seedling and Adult-Plant Resistance to Yellow Rust
2001Resistance to stripe rust of 56 advanced wheat lines/varieties introduced from International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) was evaluated at seedling stage in greenhouse and at adult-plant stage in field. Three pathotypes 6E0A−, 70E16A+, and 134E134A+ were used in greenhouse and pathotype 134E134A+ in field.

Microsatellite Genotyping of the Wheat Yellow Rust Pathogen Puccinia striiformis
2017To combat the ever-increasing threat of wheat yellow rust worldwide, understanding of the pathogen (Puccinia striiformis) population biology is indispensable. Molecular markers, particularly microsatellites, have been reported to be important tools for deciphering pathogen population structure, invasion sources, and migration history.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING AND OPTIMAL CONTROL OF WHEAT STRIPE RUST (Yellow Rust) DISEASE
Advanced Mathematical Models & ApplicationsWheat Stripe Rust is a devastating fungal disease that is the largest limitation to wheat production and threatens the global food supply. In this work, we proposed a mathematical system of ordinary differential equations to model the wheat Stripe Rust transmission dynamics.
