Genomics for Yield and Yield Components in Durum Wheat
In recent years, many efforts have been conducted to dissect the genetic basis of yield and yield components in durum wheat thanks to linkage mapping and genome-wide association studies. In this review, starting from the analysis of the genetic bases that regulate the expression of yield for developing new durum wheat varieties, we have highlighted how,

Interdependence of yield and soybean yield components
This paper presents the results of a two-year study of six selected soybean genotypes with the aim of examining which of the genotypes in the given production conditions give the best results in regards with the amount and quality of seed yield. All genotypes belong to a zero-maturity group.

GRAIN YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS OF WINTER BARLEY
The interaction of genotype x environment on yield and 1000 grain weight and test weight at four KG cultivars of barley (Rekord, Jagodinac, Maksa and Grand) was researched in this paper. The experiment was established on the experimental field of the Small Grains Center in Kragujevac (Serbia) during two growing seasons.

Heritability and gene effects for yield and yield components in chickpea
A 4x4 full-diallel cross set of chickpea (ILC 3279, Konya, Balikesir and Aknohut) was studied to estimate the gene effects and genetic parameters of nine traits. According to Hayman's method, only additive gene effects were found significant for days to flowering, plant height, number of pods and seeds per plant.

Stability of yield and yield components in maize hybrids
Two-year grain yield and 1000-grains mass data of 24 maize hybrids of FAO maturity groups 400, 500, 600, 700 were analyzed. Investigations were performed at the two environments in two years. Nonparametric methods of the Kubinger and the van der Laan-de Kroon showed genotype x environment interaction for both investigated features, and method of ...

Estimating component yield for CLT production [PDF]
The emergence of cross-laminated timber (CLT) for building construction in North America may provide an additional and possibly more valuable product market for hardwood logs. Using the RaySaw sawing and ROMI rough mill simulators and a digital databank of laser-scanned low-grade yellow-poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) logs, we examine the yield ...

Heterosis for seed yield and yield components in sunflower
The development of new high-yielding and stable sunflower hybrids based on interspecific hybridization requires information on the heterotic effects for agronomically important traits in the F, generation. Heterotic effects for seed yield, plant height and head diameter were studied in interspecific sunflower hybrids developed by the line x tester ...

The Effect of Organic Fertilizers on the Spelt Yield and the Yield of its Components
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of fertilization with organic fertilizers Fertil Supernova and Ilsamin N90 on the yield and yield components of three spelt varieties. The study was conducted on an anthropogenized eutric cambisol at the experimental site of the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb during 2015/16, 2016/17, and 2017/18 ...

ABSTRACT Primary lung carcinomas and bronchial carcinoid tumors (BC) are very rare malignancies in childhood. While typical BC and mucoepidermoid carcinomas are mostly low‐grade, localized tumors with a more favorable prognosis than in adults, necessitating avoidance of overtreatment, adenocarcinomas of the lung are often diagnosed at advanced disease ...
