This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Gender inequality and HIV transmission: a global analysis
Introduction The HIV pandemic disproportionately impacts young women. Worldwide, young women aged 15–24 are infected with HIV at rates twice that of young men, and young women alone account for nearly a quarter of all new HIV infections.

The effect of economic inequality on young children's prosocial decision-making.
An emerging body of literature has documented the negative implications high economic inequality can have on children's social and cognitive development. However, little experimental research has directly addressed how wealth discrepancies impact the way

Sharpness in Young’s inequality for convolution [PDF]
Summary: Let \(p\) and \(q\) be indices in the open interval \((1,\infty)\) such that \(pq < p+q\); let \(r = pq/(p+q-pq)\). It is shown here that there is a constant \(C_{p,q} < 1\) such that, if \(G\) is a locally compact, unimodular group with no compact open subgroups, and if \(g\) and \(f\) are functions in \(L^p(G)\) and \(L^q(G)\) respectively ...

Review of Thin Lithium Metal Battery Anode Fabrication – Microstructure – Electrochemistry Relations
Thin, lightweight lithium‐metal anodes are pivotal for practical high‐energy batteries. This review surveys processing routes that convert diverse Li precursors, e.g., ingots, melts, solutions, and vapor, into Li‐rich foils with controlled thickness, areal density, and tailored functionality.

Parabiosis, Assembloids, Organoids (PAO)
This review evaluates parabiosis, organoids, and assembloids as complementary disease models spanning systemic, organ, and multi‐organ levels. It highlights their construction strategies, applications, and current limitations, while emphasizing their integration with frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence, organ‐on‐a‐chip, CRISPR, and ...

Forced oscillation of hyperbolic equations with mixed nonlinearities
In this paper, we consider the mixed nonlinear hyperbolic equations with forcing term via Riccati inequality. Some sufficient conditions for the oscillation are derived by using Young inequality and integral averaging method.

Missing consumption inequality : direct evidence from individual food data [PDF]
Without data on individual consumption, inequality across individuals is almost invariably inferred by applying adult equivalence scales to household-level consumption data.
