Infrared Interferometric Observations of Young Stellar Objects [PDF]
We present infrared observations of four young stellar objects using the Palomar Testbed Interferometer (PTI). For three of the sources, T Tau, MWC 147 and SU Aur, the 2.2 micron emission is resolved at PTI's nominal fringe spacing of 4 milliarcsec (mas), while the emission region of AB Aur is over-resolved on this scale.

X-shooter spectroscopy of young stellar objects [PDF]
Context. Hydrogen recombination emission lines commonly observed in accreting young stellar objects represent a powerful tracer for the gas conditions in the circumstellar structures (accretion columns, and winds or jets). Aims. Here we perform a

Young stellar objects in NGC 6823 [PDF]
NGC 6823 is a young open cluster that lies at a distance of ~2 kpc in the Vulpecula OB1 association. Previous studies using CCD photometry and spectroscopy have identified a Trapezium system of bright O- and B-type stars at its center. We present optical, near-infrared and Spitzer photometric observations of the cluster. Our survey reaches down to I~22

Photometric variability of massive young stellar objects [PDF]
The Vista Variables in the Via Lactea (VVV) survey has allowed for an unprecedented number of multi-epoch observations of the southern Galactic plane. In a recent paper, 13 massive young stellar objects (MYSOs) have already been identified within the highly variable (ΔKs > 1 mag) YSO sample of another published work.

The Nature of Blue Stars with Mid-infrared Excesses in the Large Magellanic Cloud
We present low-resolution optical spectra and classifications of 92 blue objects with mid-infrared excesses in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The majority of these objects were selected with the criteria of U − B < 0 and V < 17 from the potential young ...

Salt-bearing Disk Candidates around High-mass Young Stellar Objects
Molecular lines tracing the orbital motion of gas in a well-defined disk are valuable tools for inferring both the properties of the disk and the star it surrounds. Lines that arise only from a disk, and not also from the surrounding molecular cloud core
