Exchange rate pass-through, domestic competition and inflation -- evidence from the 2005/08 revaluation of the Renminbi [PDF]

open access: yes
How important is the effect of exchange rate fluctuations on the competitive environment faced by domestic firms and the prices they charge? To answer this question, this paper examines the 17 percent appreciation of the yuan against the U.S. dollar from

Ferritin‐Doped Nanoparticles Triggered Tumor‐Specific Darkening for Enhanced Photothermal Tumor Ablation and Immune Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Ferritin‐doped hybrid nanoparticles triggered accurate tumor‐specific hemorrhage for enhanced in situ photothermal therapy and evoked anti‐tumor immunity. Notably, HFn/GA‐Fe specifically induced tumor hemorrhage 12 h after intravenous injection, resulting in visible color darkening. Through photoacoustic imaging, tumor vessels could be clearly observed

Microscopic Monitoring of Local Temperature in the High Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Stack

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2013
The non-uniform distributions of internal temperature in a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) stack affect not only the reactions that occur in it, but also its performance and lifetime.

The Role of the Real Exchange Rate Adjustment in Expanding Service Employment in China [PDF]

open access: yes
It is widely accepted that China needs to shift from its past mode of export-led growth and start to rely more on domestic demand. What role could the real appreciation of the Chinese yuan play in this regard?

Oxygen and ROS Delivery for Infected Wound Healing and Future Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Bacterial infection is a major driver of delayed wound healing and postsurgical readmissions; with rising antibiotic resistance, solid peroxide–releasing biomaterials offer sustained delivery of ROS/O2 for antimicrobial control and microenvironmental modulation.

CHY formulae in 4d

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we develop a rather general way to reduce integrands with polarization involved in the Cachazo-He-Yuan formulae, such as the reduced Pfaffian, its compactiffcation and its squeezing, as well as the new object for F^3 amplitude.

Wound Geometry Determines Whether Aligned‐Fiber Scaffolds Accelerate or Impede Diabetic Wound Healing: A Biased Random Walk Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Wound closure is governed by geometry‐orientation coupling: aligned fibers speed migration along their axis but hinder perpendicular advance. In vivo diabetic wound experiments with composition‐matched fibrin, combined with an anisotropic diffusion (biased random‐walk) model, quantify this trade‐off and generate a healing landscape.

Flexible Multiple Micro Sensor for Local Persistent Effect Test in High Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Stack

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2017
The nonuniformity of local temperature, voltage and current in the high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell stack can accelerate the aging of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) and the failure of overall fuel cell stack.

Worldsheet Geometries of Ambitwistor String

open access: yes, 2015
Mason and Skinner proposed the ambitwistor string theory which directly reproduces the formulas for the amplitudes of massless particles proposed by Cachazo, He and Yuan.

Nb2C‐Reinforced Hydrogel Microneedle as Dual ROS‐Scavenging Platform to Promote Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An advanced microneedle patch integrating niobium carbide nanosheets and curcumin is engineered for diabetic wound healing. The system enables dual ROS scavenging and NIR‐enhanced antimicrobial activity, effectively rebalancing the oxidative microenvironment, promoting macrophage repolarization and angiogenesis, and accelerating full‐thickness wound ...
