Religion, caste and access to credit by SMEs: Is there a link?

open access: yesCogent Economics & Finance, 2023
Using unit-level data on the entire population of registered manufacturing SMEs in 2007 for India, we explore the impact of religiosity on their access to finance.

The Large N 't Hooft Limit of Kazama-Suzuki Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We consider N=2 Kazama-Suzuki model on CP^N=SU(N+1)/SU(N)xU(1). It is known that the N=2 current algebra for the supersymmetric WZW model, at level k, is a nonlinear algebra. The N=2 W_3 algebra corresponding to N=2 was recovered from the generalized GKO

Z8 and Z12 orbifold models

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1989
Abstract The Z 8 and Z 12 models with shift embeddings are studied. The classification of the gauge groups is given. We also give explicit forms of the generalized GSO projection operator.

Some chiral rings of N=2 discrete superconformal series induced by SL(2) degenerate conformal field theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
By generalizing a fermionic construction, a natural relation is found between SL(2) degenerate conformal field theories and some N=2 discrete superconformal series. These non-unitary models contain, as a subclass, N=2 minimal models.

On the spectrum of fluctuations of a liquid surface: From the molecular scale to the macroscopic scale [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
We show that to account for the full spectrum of surface fluctuations from low scattering vector qd 1 (bulk-like fluctuations), one must take account of the interface's bending rigidity at intermediate scattering vector qd = 1, where d is the molecular ...

M-Theory with Framed Corners and Tertiary Index Invariants [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The study of the partition function in M-theory involves the use of index theory on a twelve-dimensional bounding manifold. In eleven dimensions, viewed as a boundary, this is given by secondary index invariants such as the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer eta ...

A Tonnetz Model for pentachords [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This article deals with the construction of surfaces that are suitable for representing pentachords or 5-pitch segments that are in the same $T/I$ class.

Analysis of sex pheromone production and field trapping of the Asian corn borer (Ostrinia furnacalis Guenée) in Xinjiang, China

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Agriculture, 2023
Identifying the sex pheromone systems of local pest populations facilitates their management, especially for moth species that show significant geographic variation in sex pheromone communication.

Growth stage of Phalaris minor Retz. and wheat determines weed control and crop tolerance of four post-emergence herbicides

open access: yesSpanish Journal of Agricultural Research, 2017
Phalaris minor Retz. has evolved multiple herbicide resistance in wheat growing areas in northwestern India. An understanding of the effect of growth stage on herbicide tolerance of wheat and control of P.

Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Azamacrolide Comprising the Triazole Moiety as Quorum Sensing Inhibitors

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
Novel azamacrolides comprising the triazole moiety were synthesized and evaluated for their quorum sensing inhibitor activities on the Agrobacterium tumefaciens. It was found that the inhibition rate of compound Z12-3 at 200 mg/L (0.45 mM) can reach 67%.
