Zapoteca quichoi (Leguminosae, Mimosoideae), a New Species from Southeastern Mexico
Brittonia, 1998Zapoteca quichoi, a new species endemic to southern Tabasco, Mexico, is described and illustrated. This species exhibits morphological characteristics that place it within subgenus Amazonica, together with Z. amazonica and Z. microcephala, from Peru and Colombia, respectively.

Revista Científica de Estudios Urbano Regionales Hatsö-HniniZapoteca’s Hill is a Natural Protected Area under state jurisdiction that shows great deterioration. This research analyzes the state of conservation of the hill through the perception of its interest groups and the dynamics of the taxonomic group of birds as a bioindicator to propose strategic lines for the sustainability of the protected area.
