Poly(benzodifurandione) Coated Silk Yarn for Thermoelectric Textiles

Silk is coated with the n‐type polymer poly(benzodifurandione) (PBFDO) resulting in conducting yarn with an extrapolated half‐life of 3.2 ± 0.7 years at ambient conditions, which enables the fabrication of air stable thermoelectric textile generators by embroidery.

Graphical Abstract: After submaximal exercise (two–four‐star cross‐country rides), trained eventing horses showed consistently elevated HGB and cortisol levels, above the reference ranges for healthy horses at rest. However, physiological changes also occur within the reference ranges. Hormonal axes are activated, and there is antioxidant activity.
