Integrated CO2 Capture and Utilization: Toward Value‐Added Products

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Materials, EarlyView.
This review addresses this gap by categorizing integrated carbon capture and utilization (ICCU) according to C1 and C2+ products, linking catalytic strategies to industrial commodities, and identifying future research and deployment priorities to advance ICCU from laboratory innovation to commercial reality.

Water cluster triggered vitrification in HKUST‐1 MOF crystal under pressure

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Water molecules in the pore centre form an oriented pentagonal water cluster via H‐bonding, which exerts a pulling effect on Cu–O(ligand) bond and induces bond cleavage. Meanwhile, the broken fragment flips into an unfavourable arrangement that prevents the rejoining of the bond, which finally causes a continuous porous MOF network in the glassy state.

Enhanced blue emission in silica‐confined mixed‐halide perovskite quantum dots via releasing residual stress

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Residual tensile stress is identified as a key factor responsible for the low luminous efficiency in silica‐confined blue‐emitting CsPb(Cl/Br)3 quantum dots. A hydrothermal treatment enables stress release in these quantum dots and significantly enhances their luminous efficiency.

From Computational Screening to Enhanced Adsorption: Optimized Removal of Toxic Congo Red by Nitrogen‐rich Triazine Polymers

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
This study validates a DFT‐employed screening approach for discovering new adsorbent materials for organic dyes, successfully identifying CCTAT POP as a highly effective adsorbent for Congo red dye. The POP material exhibits a superior adsorption capacity (46.51 mg g−1) and maintains a regeneration ability, achieving over 90% removal efficiency in ...
