Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Optimal Training in Large TDD Multi-User Downlink Systems under Zero-Forcing and Regularized Zero-Forcing Precoding [PDF]

open access: yes2010 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference GLOBECOM 2010, 2010
This paper considers a large multi-user time-division duplex (TDD) system, where the base station (BS) acquires channel state information via pilot signaling from the users. In the downlink the BS employs zero-forcing (ZF) and regularized zero-forcing (RZF) precoding.

Computational Approaches for Zero Forcing and Related Problems [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Operational Research, 2017
In this paper, we propose computational approaches for the zero forcing problem, the connected zero forcing problem, and the problem of forcing a graph within a specified number of timesteps.

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

Minimum rank and zero forcing number for butterfly networks

open access: yes, 2018
The minimum rank of a simple graph $G$ is the smallest possible rank over all symmetric real matrices $A$ whose nonzero off-diagonal entries correspond to the edges of $G$.

Spectral Efficiency Analysis of Cell-Free Massive MIMO Systems With Zero-Forcing Detector [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2018
In this paper, we firstly derive two approximations of the achievable uplink rate with the perfect/imperfect channel state information (CSI) in cell-free massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems, and all these approximations are not only in the ...

Functional Connectivity Linked to Cognitive Recovery After Minor Stroke

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Patients with minor stroke exhibit slowed processing speed and generalized alterations in functional connectivity involving frontoparietal cortex (FPC). The pattern of connectivity evolves over time. In this study, we examine the relationship of functional connectivity patterns to cognitive performance, to determine ...

On the Maximal Diversity Order of Spatial Multiplexing with Transmit Antenna Selection

open access: yes, 2007
Zhang et. al. recently derived upper and lower bounds on the achievable diversity of an N_R x N_T i.i.d. Rayleigh fading multiple antenna system using transmit antenna selection, spatial multiplexing and a linear receiver structure. For the case of L = 2

Predicting Epileptogenic Tubers in Patients With Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Using a Fusion Model Integrating Lesion Network Mapping and Machine Learning

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.

On the -forcing number: computational approach and exact values

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Complexity
Zero forcing is a graph coloring process that is used to model spreading phenomena in real-world scenarios. It can also be viewed as a single-player combinatorial game on a graph, where the player’s goal is to select a subset of vertices of minimum ...
