Validity of a Wearable Digital Insole for Assessing Gait ON and OFF in Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Gait impairment is a distinctive symptom of Parkinson's disease that negatively impact mobility. We assessed the validity of wearable digital insoles against a validated reference gait analysis system for measuring select gait characteristics in patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A comparative analysis between digital insoles

Zero forcing is an iterative graph coloring process studied for its wide array of applications. In this process the vertices of the graph are initially designated as filled or unfilled, and a zero forcing set is a set of initially filled vertices that results in all vertices filled after repeated application of a color change rule.

ABSTRACT Traumatic spinal cord injury (TSCI) caused by sharp‐force penetration is exceptionally rare, and the use of high‐dose methylprednisolone (MP) remains highly controversial, especially beyond the conventional 8‐h treatment window. This case report describes a 30‐year‐old male with acute incomplete TSCI following a knife stab wound to the right ...

New perspectives for wireless communications have brought new techniques, such as a very large number of antennas at a base station (BS) serving multiple user terminals (UTs) with a single antenna each, known as massive MIMO (M-MIMO).

A subset $S$ of initially infected vertices of a graph $G$ is called forcing if we can infect the entire graph by iteratively applying the following process. At each step, any infected vertex which has a unique uninfected neighbour, infects this neighbour. The forcing number of $G$ is the minimum cardinality of a forcing set in $G$.

Zero forcing for sign patterns
We introduce a new variant of zero forcing - signed zero forcing. The classical zero forcing number provides an upper bound on the maximum nullity of a matrix with a given graph (i.e. zero-nonzero pattern). Our new variant provides an analo- gous bound for the maximum nullity of a matrix with a given sign pattern.

Characteristics and outcomes of male participants in the Australian Scleroderma Cohort Study (ASCS).
Objective To determine the differences in demographic, serologic and clinical characteristics between male and female patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) in an Australian cohort. Methods Retrospective observational study using data from the Australian Scleroderma Cohort Study (ASCS). Males (M) were compared to females (F) using chi‐squared, Wilcoxon

Research on sphere decoders for rank-deficient MIMO systems
Sphere decoder(SD) has variable complexity, and the traditional fixed-complexity sphere decoder(FSD) is not applicable for rank-deficient(NT>NR) multiple input multiple output(MIMO) systems.
