Mathematical description of the method for ungrounded AC systems to determine the network insulation
For the safety of humans and animals in the vicinity of single‐phase earth faults in ungrounded AC systems, the development of methods for monitoring the condition of insulation and protection against electric shocks is an important issue.

The cluster DC voltage balancing control adopting zero-sequence voltage injection is appropriate for the star-connected cascaded H-bridge STATCOM because no zero-sequence currents are generated in the three-phase three-wire system.

Each arm of modular multilevel converter (MMC) consists of a large number of sub-module (SM) units. However, it also increases the probability of SM failure during the long-term system operation. Focusing on the fault-tolerant operation issue for the MMC

A Carrier-Based Modulation With Planned Zero Sequence Voltage Injection to Control Neutral Point Voltage for Three-Level Inverter [PDF]
In this paper, a carrier-based modulation strategy with planned zero sequence voltage (ZSV) injection for T-type three-level inverter (TLI) is proposed to control neutral point (NP) voltage, which is simple to be implemented. This strategy is analyzed comprehensively based on the relationship between NP current and the injected ZSV in one switching ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
