Minimal zero-sum sequences over 〚 − m,n〛
Journal of Number Theory, 2019Let \(G\) be an abelian group and let \(X\subset G\) be a nonempty finite subset. A sequence over \(X\) is a finite unordered sequence with terms from \(X\) and repetition is allowed. We say \(S\) is zero-sum if all terms of \(S\) sums zero. If \(S\) is a zero-sum sequence but any nonempty proper subsequence of \(S\) is not a zero-sum sequence, \(S ...

Signal processing of zero sequence voltage technique
2007 European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications, 2007This paper deals with the implementation of the zero sequence voltage (ZSV) technique [4,7], which was exploited to determine the rotor position of the surface permanent magnet synchronous motor (SMPMSM). The method is based on the zero sequence voltage measurement, performed between the neutral point of AC machines and the mid-point of the inverter DC

Ternary sequence with zero correlation
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1967A method of generating ternary sequences with zero cyclic correlation except for the spike for zero lag is described. The sequences are of length given by (3n-1)/2 where n is odd. A method of generating uncorrelated sequences derived from the ternary sequence modified by a Hadamard matrix is indicated.

Zeros of linear recurrence sequences
Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 2000A sequence \(U=\{u_n\}_{n\in \mathbb Z}\) of complex numbers is called a linear recurrence sequence if it satisfies a relation \(u_n=c_1u_{n-1}+\dots+c_t u_{n-t}\) with \(c_i\in \mathbb C\) and \(c_t\neq 0\). There is only one such relation for which \(t\) is minimal.

We consider here a sequence of chemically homogeneous models in complete (mechanical and thermal) equilibrium with central hydrogen burning. All of them are composed of the same hydrogen-rich mixture, while the stellar mass M varies from model to model along the sequence.

On integer-valued zero autocorrelation sequences
2013 Asia-Pacific Signal and Information Processing Association Annual Summit and Conference, 2013A systematic way to construct Integer-valued zero autocorrelation sequences is proposed. This method only uses fundamental theorems of discrete Fourier transform(DFT) and some number theories.

Composition Theorems, Multiplier Sequences and Complex Zero Decreasing Sequences
2006An important chapter in the theory of distribution of zeros of polynomials and transcendental entire functions pertains to the study of linear operators acting on entire functions. This article surveys some recent developments (as well as some classical results) involving some specific classes of linear operators called multiplier sequences and complex

Zero-sequence representation of overhead lines
Archiv fr Elektrotechnik, 1982The zero sequence components of electrical quantities of overhead lines appearing at unsymmetrical ground faults are analysed, taking into account the mutual coupling among line phase circuits and earth wires as well as the conducting effects of line towers.
