Soft switching DC/DC converter using auxiliary circuits [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2008
A novel auxiliary circuit for full-bridge PWMDC/DC converter with controlled secondary side rectifieris presented in this paper. Zero-current turn-on for allpower switches of the inverter is achieved for full loadrange from no-load to short circuit by ...

Electro‐Chemo‐Mechanical Coupling in Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 Ferroionic Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic of a ferroionic HZO heterostructure where epitaxial interfaces enable dynamic oxygen‐vacancy exchange, coupling ionic and ferroelectric degrees of freedom. Vacancy‐mediated polarization modulation biases HZO polymorphism, suppresses leakage, and enhances piezoelectric response, yielding distinct butterfly‐loop evolution and diode‐like ...

Numerical analysis of switching performance evaluators in low-voltage switching devices

open access: yes, 2015
An arc modelling is a valuable and useful tool to evaluate the switching performance of low-voltage switching devices (LVSDs) during breaking operation before testing real products. Moreover, it helps improve interruption capability of LVSDs and optimize

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Research on High Efficiency Soft-Switching Power Supply for Maglev Controller Applications

open access: yes机车电传动, 2015
Aiming at the fatal issues of low efficiency, serious fever and low reliability of hard-switching topologies employed in the traditional power supply for maglev controller, a novel high efficiency soft-switching power supply was developed by employing ...

Multibit Ferroelectric HfZrO Memcapacitor for Non‐Volatile Analogue Memory and Reconfigurable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric memcapacitors enable non‐volatile, voltage‐programmable capacitance tuning for adaptive electronics. A TiN/HfZrO/TiN device stack demonstrates more than eight stable capacitance states within a 24 pF memory window in compact 60 ×$\times$ 60 μm2$\umu{\rm m}^{2}$ devices at low operating voltages.

Development of control algorithm for a new 12s-6p single phase field excited flux switching motor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Flux switching motor (FSM) fall into a special category of switch reluctance motors (SRM). One of the key features of FSM is its rotor structure. Generally, it is free from any magnet and winding.

Uncovering the Origin of Efficiency Roll‐Off in TADF OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
OLEDs based on thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) materials often suffer from a severe drop in efficiency at high brightness levels. This work presents a technique to uncover the source of this efficiency drop, and quantifies the exciton‐exciton and exciton‐polaron annihilation processes responsible for efficiency losses in our TADF OLEDs ...
