Proteomics of rimmed vacuoles define new risk allele in inclusion body myositis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
OBJECTIVE: Sporadic inclusion body myositis (sIBM) pathogenesis is unknown; however, rimmed vacuoles (RVs) are a constant feature. We propose to identify proteins that accumulate within RVs.

Bioabsorbable Endovascular Adhesive Tape (BEAT) for Improving Vascular Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioabsorbable endovascular adhesive tape (BEAT) platform based on a hierarchical polyelectrolyte complex is developed to enhance drug delivery in the DCB system. The coating enables rapid transfer to the vessel, provides short‐term mechanical support, and promotes both immediate transfer and long‐term retention of drugs at the lesion site.

Proteomic investigation of the MDM2 interactome and linear motif interactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The oncoprotein MDM2 has an integral role in cancer development via multiple signalling pathways. Two proteomic mass spectrometry screens, label-free with spectral counting quantitation and 8-plex iTRAQ were used to identify proteins up or downregulated ...

Multifactorial Screening for Fine‐Scale Selection of CCS Industrial Clusters and Hubs in Brazil

open access: yesGreenhouse Gases: Science and Technology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As Brazil moves toward implementing its decarbonization commitments, carbon capture and storage (CCS) hubs are emerging as a key pathway for large‐scale CO2 abatement in hard‐to‐abate sectors. This paper presents a multifactorial, data‐driven framework to screen and prioritize potential CCS industrial clusters and hubs across Brazilian regions,
