Dynamic Modeling and Control of a Zeta Converter

2008 International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies, 2008
A Zeta converter is a fourth-order DC-DC converter made up of two inductors and two capacitors and capable of operating in either step-up or step-down mode. Compared with other converters in the same class, such as Cuk and Sepic converters, the Zeta converter has received the least attention, and more importantly, its dynamic modeling and control have ...

Matrix converters based on the Zeta topology

2015 IEEE 13th Brazilian Power Electronics Conference and 1st Southern Power Electronics Conference (COBEP/SPEC), 2015
The article shows the derivation of a new matrix converters based on DC-DC Zeta converter, which aim to solve the problem of voltage gain, typical problem of this type of converters, which in the best case, is slightly higher than the unit. In a case study, obtained circuits are used as power conditioning block which is necessary to obtain a fixed ...

Double-Ended ZVS Half-Bridge Zeta Converter

2007 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2007
A new double-ended type zero-voltage switching (ZVS) half-bridge zeta (HBZ) converter employing a double-ended rectifier (DER) is proposed. The proposed DER for the HBZ converter provides a bidirectional powering path in the rectifier. As a result, the improved voltage waveform of the rectifier reduces the output filter size and voltage stresses on ...

Double-Input/Single-Output Zeta Converter

2021 12th Power Electronics, Drive Systems, and Technologies Conference (PEDSTC), 2021
This paper presents a double-input/single-output DC/DC Converter (DISOC) in continuous conduction mode (CCM) by applying a non-interleaved switching pattern on the transistors of the circuit. The converter can be utilized in either step-up or step-down conditions.

Application of the ZETA converter in switched-mode power supplies

Conference Record of the Power Conversion Conference - Yokohama 1993, 2002
This work consists of the study and implementation of a switched mode power supply with four outputs using the ZETA power converter. The converter is controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM). The analysis of the converter with its static steady-state characteristics and load characteristics for the continuous mode of operation are presented.

A new bidirectional zeta DC/DC converter

The 5th Annual International Power Electronics, Drive Systems and Technologies Conference (PEDSTC 2014), 2014
Nowadays, applications of DC-AC inverters in various applications such as hybrid electric vehicles are growing up. DC-DC converters are one of the important parts of the HEVs. Dual output DC-AC inverters can be used in them. If a multi input-multi output inverter be used, then the DC-DC converter should be able to prepare the inputs for that.

A Zeta-CSC Converter Combination for Single-Input and Bipolar Output

IECON 2019 - 45th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2019
This paper presents a DC-DC converter of one input and one bipolar output. The converter has been obtained from the combination of two basic converters of one input and one output. Thus, the proposed configuration is the result of the combination of a CSC (Canonical Switching Cell) converter and a Zeta converter. A common feature of these converters is
