In the crystals of bis(2-amino- 1,5-dihydro-1-methyl-4H- imidazol-4-one-N 3 )dichlorozinc(II), [ZnCl 2 (C 4 H 7 N 3 - O) 2 ], the Zn atom is fourfold coordinated by the two N atoms situated at the 3 positions of the imidazole rings and by two Cl atoms. The coordination environment at the Zn atom is distorted tetrahedral.

Fluoride complexes of zinc(II) and cadmium(II)

The stability constants, β1[MF+(aq)], for the formation of the monofluoride complexes of zinc(II) and cadmium(II) in aqueous solution have been determined at 25°C and ionic strengths ranging from 0.01 to 3 M (NaClO4) by fluoride ion-selective electrode potentiometry.
