Sulfadrug complexes of zinc(II), cadmium(II) and mercury(II)
Transition Metal Chemistry, 1977ZnII, CdII and HgII complexes of sulfadrugs, viz., sulfathiazole, sulfadiazine, sulfamerazine and sulfamethazine were prepared and characterized by analytical and spectroscopic data. The complexes are insoluble and melt with decomposition. The drugs act as bidentate ligands yielding polymeric complexes except for the ZnII(sulfamethazine) complex in ...

Ethylthiourea complexes of zinc(II), cadmium(II) and mercury(II)
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1975Abstract A series of zinc(II), cadmium(II) and mercury(II) halide complexes with ethylthiourea (ETU) were prepared and characterized by i.r. and conductometric methods. The complexes Zn(ETU)2X2 (X Cl, Br), Cd(ETU)2X2 (X Cl, Br, I) and Hg(ETU)2I2 are tetrahedral species.

Nickel(II) and zinc(II) complexes of 2-alkoxyphenols
Journal of the Chemical Society A: Inorganic, Physical, Theoretical, 1970The preparation and properties of a new series of nickel(II) complexes with 2-methoxyphenol and its 4-formyl-, 4-nitro-, and 4-formyl-6-methoxy-derivatives are reported. The hydrates of general formula Ni(ligand)2,xH2O dehydrate to yield complexes of the type Ni(ligand)2.

Preparation of Zinc(II) and Cadmium(II) Complexes with (−)-Sparteine
Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan, 2006Abstract A systematic study on the effects of different metals and halogenide ions was carried out by using [MX2(sp)] (M = Zn and Cd; X = Cl, Br, and I; sp = (−)-sparteine). The complexes have been characterized by X-ray crystallography, and far-IR and Raman spectroscopy.

Zinc (II) and Nickel (II) Complexes of Cysteinyl-Cysteine
Spectroscopy Letters, 1983Abstract Complexes of transition metals with cysteinyl-cysteine: cys-cys are of interest as models for metalloproteins such as metallothionein. Infrared and Raman Spectra of cys-cys, Ni (II)- (cys-cys)2 and Zn (II)-(cys-cys)2 complexes are reported. The results show that the dipeptide is bound to transition metals through sulfur only.

π-Arene complexes of cadmium(II) and zinc(II)
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 1977Abstract 13 C n.m.r. complexation shifts of arenes are observed in the systems Cd(AsF 6 ) 2 -arene-SO 2 and Zn(SbF 6 ) 2 -arene-SO 2 and provide evidence for arene complexes of cadmium(II) and zinc(II) resembling those of Ag(I). Representative complexes of cadmium(II) and zinc(II) have 1:1 stoichiometry.

Cobalt(II) and zinc(II) complexes of 1,1,5,5,-tetramethylcarbohydrazide
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1983Abstract 1,1,5,5,-Tetramethylcarbohydrazide (Me2NNH)2CO(tmc) was synthesized via the thermal decomposition of the carbamate Me2NNHC(O)OSiMe3. The complexes Co(tmc)Cl2(III), Co(tmc)2Cl2(IV), Zn(tmc)Cl2(V) and Zn(tmc)2Cl2(VI) were prepared. These compounds are non-electrolytes in solution in acetone and nitromethane. The complexes III and V have pseudo

Nickel(II) and Zinc(II) Complexes with Benzoylacetaldehyde Derivatives
Russian Journal of Coordination Chemistry, 2019Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes, [M(Ln)A] (n = 1–3, A = NH3, Py), were prepared from the products of condensation of benzoylacetaldehyde with aromatic acid hydrazides (H2L1–H2L3). The obtained complexes were examined by elemental analysis and IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The structure of [Ni(L2)Py] was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis (CIF file CCDC

Two new tripodal peptide ligands with histidine side chains have been synthesized and were shown to form stable zinc(II) complexes. Their NMR and mass spectra indicate a structure that is analogous to the active center of carbonic anhydrase. Both the ligands and the zinc complexes were titrated potentiometrically in order to obtain the pKa values for ...

A Stable Organic π‐Radical of a Zinc(II)–Copper(I)–Zinc(II) Complex of Decaphyrin
Angewandte Chemie International Edition, 2015AbstractA ZnII‐CuI‐ZnII heterotrimetal complex of decaphyrin was synthesized by stepwise metalations: metalation of a [46]decaphyrin with ZnII ions to produce a 46π decaphyrin bis(ZnII) complex and its subsequent metalation with CuII ion. In the second metalation step, it has been shown that CuII ion is reduced to a CuI ion in the complex and a ...
