Five new dinuclear model complexes for zinc-containing phosphatases with dinucleating ligands have been prepared and characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The heterodinuclear, μ-alkoxo-bridged zinc(II)−iron(III) complexes 1−3 contain the symmetric ligands N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis[2-(5,6-dimethyl)benzimidazolylmethyl]-1,3-diamino-2propanol ...

Studies in the stereochemistry of zinc(II). VII. Zinc complexes with dialkyldithiophosphates
Australian Journal of Chemistry, 1970A series of bis(O,O-dialkyldithiophosphato)zinc(11) complexes, ZnL2 (LH = (R0)2PS2H; R = Et, Pri, Bu, Bui, Bus, cyclohexyl), has been isolated. Pyridine adducts ZnL2(py)2 (R = Et, Pr, Pri, Bui) and ZnL2(py) (R = Pr, Pri, Bui) have also been obtained. Basic complexes ZnO,3ZnL2 (R = Et, Pr) have been isolated.

Zinc (II), cadmium (II) and mercury (II) complexes of 2-methyl-benzoxazole
Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular Spectroscopy, 1981Abstract The following zinc (II), cadmium (II) and mercury (II) complexes of 2-methyl-benzoxazole (L) have been prepared and studied by conductometric and i.r. methods: MLX 2 (MCd, XCl, Br; MHg, XCl), HgL 1.5 X 2 (XBr, ClO 4 ), ML 2 X 2 (MZn, XCl, Br, I, NO 3 ; MCd, Hg, XI, NO 3 ), ZnL 3 (ClO 4 ) 2 ·2H 2 O, CdL 3 (ClO 4 ) 2 ·3H 2 O.

Hydrolytic cleavage of DNA by quercetin zinc(II) complex
Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2007Quercetin zinc(II) complex was investigated focusing on its hydrolytic activity toward DNA. The complex successfully promotes the cleavage of plasmid DNA, producing single and double DNA strand breaks. The amount of conversion of supercoiled form (SC) of plasmid to the nicked circular form (NC) depends on the concentration of the complex as well as the
