New phenylalkanoids from Zingiber officinale
Two new phenylalkanoids, 3-hydroxy-1-(4'-hydroxy-3'-methoxy-phenyl)-hexan-5-one (1) and 3-hydroxy-1-(3',5'-dimethoxy-4'-hydroxyphenyl)-hexan-5-one (2) were isolated from the rhizomes of Chinese ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe (Zingiberaceae)).
