Influence of Contact Pressure on Performance and Crossover in Zero‐Gap Alkaline Water Electrolysis

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Cell performance and product gas quality in zero‐gap alkaline water electrolysis are influenced by the mechanical contact pressure in the electrode area. With a newly developed contact‐pressure cell, it was found that the influence of contact pressure can vary drastically, depending on the cell configuration, electrode type, and diaphragm.

Zirconia Implants vs Titanium Implants

open access: yes, 2021

Use of ultrasonography in assessing peri‐implant osseous defects: An in vitro study

open access: yesJournal of Periodontology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility and diagnostic accuracy of ultrasonography in peri‐implant defect identification and evaluation, and to compare ultrasonography (USG) with cone‐beam computed tomography (CBCT) in defect identification and evaluation in an in vitro model.

BIOMECHANICAL INVESTIGATION OF TITANIUM AND ZIRCONIA DENTAL IMPLANTS

open access: yesMechanics, 2017
This paper presents results from using a three-dimensional finite element model to investigate the stress level in surrouding bone as a function of implant material, diameter and length. The 32 different implant designs used in this study cover the diameter range from 3,5 to 6,5 mm, length range from 8.0 to 17.0 mm and materials - zirconia and titanium
