Zirconium phosphonate/1,4,5,8-naphthalenediimides self-assembled films [PDF]

open access: yesAnais da Academia Brasileira de Ciências, 2000
The formation and characterization of self-assembled films of zirconium phosphonate / N,N'-di(2-phosphonoethyl)-1,4,5,8-naphthalenediimide (DPN) is presented. The films were produced on glass substrates by deposition of alternating layers of Zr+4 and DPN.

Phosphonate-substituted zirconium oxo clusters [PDF]

open access: yesMonatshefte für Chemie - Chemical Monthly, 2015
The phosphonate-substituted zirconium oxo clusters Zr6O2(OBu)12(O3PPh)4 and Zr7O2(OiPr)12(O3PCH2CH2CH2Br)6, with octahedrally coordinated Zr atoms, were synthesized by reaction of zirconium alkoxides with phosphonic acid bis(trimethylsilyl) esters. The basic structural motif are Zr3O(µ2-OR)3(OR)3 units which are connected in different ways.

Enhanced Stability of MAPbI3 Perovskite Films with Zirconium Phosphate‐Phosphonomethylglycine Nanosheets as Additive

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, 2021
Methylammonium lead iodide perovskite (MAPbI3) is today considered the most promising component for highly efficient third generation solar cells. However, the lifetime of the solar devices is strongly affected by the stability of the MAPbI3 films toward

XPS investigation of DNA binding to zirconium-phosphonate surfaces

open access: yesColloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, 2007
The surface coverage of phosphorylated oligonucleotides immobilized on a zirconium-phosphonate surface was analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). By quantifying the intensity of the N 1s signal originating from the oligonucleotide and the Zr 3d peak from the metal-phosphonate surface, the surface coverage of the oligonucleotide could be

Zirconium Phosphonates

open access: yes, 2011
This contribution presents a survey of the various aspects of the chemistry of Zr phosphonates, throughout 30 years of activity of the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry of Perugia on this topic. These inorganic–organic compounds are characterized by a very low solubility and chemical robustness, and their structure and reactivity can be easily ...

Zirconium Phosphates and Phosphonates: Applications in Catalysis

open access: yesCatalysts
This review covers recent advancements in the use of zirconium phosphates and phosphonates (ZrPs) as catalysts or catalyst supports for a variety of reactions, including biomass conversion, acid–base catalysis, hydrogenation, oxidation, and C-C coupling reactions, from 2015 to the present. The discussion emphasizes the intrinsic catalytic properties of
