Protonic conductivity of layered zirconium phosphonates containing —SO3H groups. III. Preparation and characterization of γ-zirconium sulfoaryl phosphonates

Solid State Ionics, 1996
Five γ-layered zirconium phosphonates containing sulfophenyl, sulfobenzyl, as well as mono- and di-fluorinated sulfobenzyl groups in the interlayer region, have been prepared by topotactic exchange starting from γ-zirconium phosphate in the hydrogen form.

Bifunctional Mesoporous Zirconium Phosphonates for Delivery of Nucleic Acids

Inorganic Chemistry, 2013
The bifunctional mesoporous zirconium phosphonates (ZrBFs) were synthesized through surfactant-assisted co-condensation of ZrCl(4) with two different phosphonic acids, both 1-phosphomethylproline (H(3)PMP) and 1,4-bis(phosphomethyl)piperazine (BPMP), in a one-pot procedure.

Asymmetric Aldol Reaction Using Zirconium Phosphonate Supported l-Proline

Synfacts, 2014
Zirconium phosphonates supported L-proline (ZrPB-Pro) was prepared from functionalized L-proline PB-Pro, methyl and phenylphosphonic acid, and ZrOCl2. ZrPB-Pro catalyzed the direct asymmetric aldol addition reaction to give the adducts with good to excellent stereoselectivity.

Catalysis of terpene rearrangements by zirconium phosphates and zirconium organo-substituted phosphonates

Journal of Molecular Catalysis A: Chemical, 1998
Abstract Vapour phase catalysis of the dehydration of cyclohexanol, nerol and geraniol and of the thermal rearrangement of α -pinene by unsubstituted zirconium phosphates has been compared with similar catalysis effected by organically pillared zirconium phosphates and with catalysis by alumina. Many of the observed differences in reaction rates can

Polymerization of aniline on copper zirconium phosphate and a mixed zirconium phosphonate

Polyhedron, 1994
Abstract Oxidative polymerization of aniline was performed using both CuZr(PO 4 ) 2 (CuZrP) and Zr[O 3 P(CH 2 ) 3 COOH] 0.75 (O 3 POH) 1.25 [ZrP(bt) 0.75 (OH) 1.25 ] as catalysts. In the CuZrP reaction, the non-conducting emeraldine base form of polyaniline (PANI) formed on the surfaces of the phosphate microcrystals. When exposed to HCl, the solid

Lamellar zirconium phosphonates containing pendant sulphonic acid groups

Polyhedron, 1982
Abstract The versatile sulphonic acid group has been introduced into the family of interlamellar anchored materials. Zirconium bis -3-sulphopropylphosphonate is an example of an aliphatic acid. Zirconium bis -2-(sulphophenyl)ethylphosphonate is an example with an aromatic sulphonic acid group.

Selective Capture of Phosphopeptides by Zirconium Phosphonate-Magnetic Nanoparticles

2011
Immobilized metal affinity chromatography is a widely used method for the enrichment of phosphopeptides from proteolytic digests prior to mass spectrometric analysis. Here, we describe the selective enrichment of phosphopeptides from tryptic digests of proteins (α- and β-caseins) by zirconium phosphonate-magnetic Fe(3)O(4)/SiO(2) (core/shell ...

Starch‐based nanocomposites reinforced with layered zirconium phosphonate

Polymer Composites, 2010
AbstractA new type of layered zirconium glycine‐N,N‐dimethylphosphonate (ZGDMP), with enlarged interlayer d‐spacing and a polar carboxylate group (COO–), was prepared and characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). ZGDMP was intercalated by n‐butylamine which further

Zirconium phosphonate sorbents with tunable structure and function

Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, 2017
Abstract Porous zirconium phosphonate materials have been produced via template-free hydrothermal synthesis of a zirconium precursor and amino tris(methylenephosphonic acid). To provide insights into the final structure and function of these materials and how the material properties can be influenced by the synthesis parameters, a variety of samples ...

Palladium Porphyrin Containing Zirconium Phosphonate Langmuir−Blodgett Films

Chemistry of Materials, 1999
The substituted tetraphenylporphyrins palladium 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(2‘,3‘,5‘,6‘-tetrafluorophenyl-4‘-octadecyloxyphosphonic acid)porphyrin (16) and palladium 5,10,15-tris(2‘,6‘-dichlorophenyl)-20-(2‘,3‘,5‘,6‘-tetrafluorophenyl-4‘-octadecyloxyphosphonic acid)porphyrin (17) have been studied as Langmuir monolayers and as zirconium phosphonate Langmuir ...
