Photopyroelectric spectrum of MNO2 Doped Bi2O3 - TiO2 - ZnO ceramic combination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Photopyroelectric spectroscopy is used to study the energy band-gap of the ceramic (ZnO 0.25 Bi2O3 +0.25 TiO2 + x MnO2), x = 0 - 1.3 mol%, sintered at isothermal temperature 1190 and 1270°C for 2 hours in air.

The Role of Polypyrrole in Electrical Properties of ZnO-Polymer Composite Varistors [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2017
Composite films on the base of ZnO with different weight percentages of polypyrrole have been prepared using the hot pressing method and their current-voltage characteristics have been studied. Results show that the films have nonlinear varistor behavior

Fast nonlinear model order reduction via associated transforms of high-order volterra transfer functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We present a new and fast way of computing the projection matrices serving high-order Volterra transfer functions in the context of (weakly and strongly) nonlinear model order reduction.

Dielectric spectra of ZnO varistor ceramics

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 2012
In this paper, the dielectric spectra of ZnO varistor ceramics are measured by Novocontrol wide band dielectric spectrometer in a temperature range of -160℃-200℃ and frequency range of 0.1 Hz-0.1 MHz. It is found that electron transportation can be characterized by the flat region on a low frequency side of σ'-f curve.

Influence of processing parameters on microstructure and electrical properties of ZnO-based varistor ceramics

open access: yesDiscover Electronics
ZnO-based varistors are widely used in electrical equipment for surge protection. This research explores the influence of sintering parameters—such as sintering temperature, ramp rate and soaking time—on microstructure development and V-I characteristics

Características microestructurales de varistores del sistema ZnO-BaO-P2O5

open access: yesBoletín de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio, 1999
Ceramic materials based on the system ZnO-BaO show a great potential for varistor applications. However, the BaO rich phase located at the grain boundaries shows high solubility in water which causes severe damage of the materials.
