PdS-ZnS-Doped Electrospun Polymer Nanofibers as Effective Photocatalyst for Hydrogen Evolution
Poly(vinyl acetate) nanofibers doped with PdS-ZnS nanoparticles (PdS-ZnS/PVAc nanofibers) were fabricated via an electrospinning technique. PdS-ZnS nanoparticles were in situ synthesized by adding (NH4)2S solution to poly(vinyl acetate)/zinc acetate ...

Photoluminescence of doped ZnS nanoparticles under hydrostatic pressure [PDF]
The pressure dependence of the photoluminescence from ZnS : Mn2+, ZnS : Cu2+, and ZnS : Eu2+ nanoparticles were investigated under hydrostatic pressure up to 6 GPa at room temperature. Both the orange emission from the T-4(1) - (6)A(1) transition of Mn2+

CdS/ZnS core–shell nanoparticles in arachidic acid LB films [PDF]
Core–shell CdS/ZnS nanoparticles in arachidic acid film were prepared through a novel Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) approach. Post-deposition treatment of the precursor LB multilayers of cadmium arachidate with H2S gas followed by intercalation of Zn2+ ions and

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Energy structure and fluorescence of Eu2+ in ZnS : Eu nanoparticles [PDF]
Eu2+-doped ZnS nanoparticles with an average size of around 3 nm were prepared, and an emission band around 530 nm was observed. By heating in air at 150 degrees C, this emission decreased, while the typical sharp line emission of Eu3+ increased.
