月湖底泥疏浚后底栖动物群落的恢复及其与环境的关系 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012

Qualitative and quantitative investigations on the macrobenthic fauna of Central Amazon lakes. 1. Lago Tupé, a black water lake on the lower Rio Negro

open access: yes, 1977
Lago Tupé is a black water "ria lake". It is connected with the Rio Negro throughout the year and shows similarly large fluctuations in water level, amounting to nearly 8 m in 1971.

Tizenhárom faunára új árvaszúnyogfaj (Diptera: Chironomidae) a Tiszából | Thirteen new non-biting midge (Diptera: Chironomidae) species in the Hungarian fauna from the River Tisza [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
2003-ban árvaszúnyogbábokat és -bábbõröket gyûjtöttünk a Felsõ- Tisza keresztszelvényében, Lónya és Tiszamogyorós között. A talált fajok közül 13 (Chernovskiia sp., Chironomus (Lobochironomus) dorsalis, Cryptotendipes pseudotener, Cyphomella sp ...

Climate Impacts on Lake Food‐Webs Are Mediated by Biological Invasions

open access: yesGlobal Change Biology, Volume 31, Issue 3, March 2025.
Climate change and invasive species are major threats to biodiversity, but their combined effects are often overlooked. By analyzing fish communities in French lakes, we found that climate warming negatively impacts size and trophic diversities. However, these effects are largely mediated by the warming‐induced increase in exotic species richness ...

Zoobenthos of the Kem’ river, White sea drainage basin (composition, abundance and trophic structure)

open access: yesTransactions of the Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 2018
The species composition and abundance of macrozoobenthos was studied in rapids and backwaters of the Kem’ River (draining to the White Sea). 93 species and supra-species taxa of invertebrates were identified.

Estimating macrobenthic secondary production from body weight and biomass: a field test in a non-boreal intertidal habitat [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
Production (P) and biomass (B) data of different species from 3 stations in the intertidal zone of the Ria Formosa (southern Portugal, 37-degrees-N) were analysed.

Cross‐boundary connections of biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in boreal ecosystems

open access: yesEcological Monographs, Volume 95, Issue 1, February 2025.
Abstract Relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning (BEF) are typically investigated separately in different ecosystem types, often neglecting connections across ecosystem boundaries. Here, we examined the cross‐boundary relationships between terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity and terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem function (here ...

Macrobenthic communities in a fishery exclusion zone and in a trawled area of the middle Adriatic Sea (Italy)

open access: yesCiencias Marinas, 2008
Macrobenthic communities in a commercial fishing ground (middle Adriatic Sea) exploited by otter trawling were compared with communities living in an area closed to fishing for over 10 years located near a gas platform.
