Stimulatory effect of 6-aminochrysene and congeners on zoxazolamine metabolism

Biochemical Pharmacology, 1971
Abstract 6-Aminochrysene (6AC) and a series of derivatives, which are selective inhibitors of the growth of a spontaneous mammary carcinoma in mice and a rhabdomyosarcoma in rats, antagonize the muscular paralysis induced by zoxazolamine in Sprague-Dawley male rats.

Factors influencing the hexobarbital sleeping time and zoxazolamine paralysis time in mice

Toxicology and Applied Pharmacology, 1968
Abstract The influence in mice of various endogenous and exogenous factors on hepatic microsomal enzyme function has been determined by alteration in duration of narcosis (HST) or paralysis (ZPT) following administration of standard doses of hexobarbital or zoxazolamine, respectively.

Uricosuric Effects of Probenecid and Zoxazolamine in Gout

Archives of Internal Medicine, 1961
The desirability of treatment of gout with agents which control hyperuricemia and reduce the metabolic pool of uric acid in the body by producing uric acid diuresis is well established. This form of treatment results in control of joint manifestations, reduction in size of tophi, and, in some cases, in improvement of renal manifestations.1Salicylates ...
