Balanced Binary Tree Schemes for Computing Zernike Radial Polynomials

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Zernike radial polynomials (ZRP) play a significant role in application areas such as optics design, imaging systems, and image processing systems. Currently, there are two kinds of numerical schemes for computing the ZRP automatically with computer ...

One-electron states and interband optical absorption in single-wall carbon nanotubes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Explicit expressions for the wave functions and dispersion equation for the band p - electrons in single-wall carbon nanotubes are obtained within the method of zero-range potentials. They are then used to investigate the absorption spectrum of polarized

From Odors to Colors: Sensory Perception in Neurodiverse Mexican Youth

open access: yesTopics in Cognitive Science, EarlyView.
Abstract Previous work has shown that humans make consistent associations between odor and color. However, neurodiverse individuals, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), perceive and interpret sensory information differently from their neurotypical peers.

Structure of the stationary state of the asymmetric target process

open access: yes, 2007
We introduce a novel migration process, the target process. This process is dual to the zero-range process (ZRP) in the sense that, while for the ZRP the rate of transfer of a particle only depends on the occupation of the departure site, it only depends

A Cross‐Layer Spatial–Spectral Optimization Framework for Hybrid Routing and Load‐Balanced Channel Allocation in Intelligent Networks

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2026.
Rapid 5G/6G evolution demands cross‐layer resource management to address congestion, latency, and reliability in multi‐hop wireless networks. This paper proposes a TOHRP–LBCA framework using DSA and congestion−/topology−/interference‐aware routing and channel allocation, yielding throughput gains, lower latency, improved packet delivery, and higher ...

A Survey on Various Enhancements Made on ZRP

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2014
is a self organizing and self configurable infrastructure less network of mobile nodes connected by wireless where the nodes move arbitrarily. Routing is a critical issue in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. One of well- known protocol for Ad hoc networks is Zone Routing Protocol.
