Design of a hierarchical Fe-ZSM-5@CeO2 catalyst and the enhanced performances for the selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

Chemical Engineering Journal, 2019
Selective catalytic reduction of NOx by NH3 (NH3-SCR) is an effective technique for the abatement of NOx. Development of SCR catalyst is the core of the technique.

The reaction of propane over ZSM-5-H and ZSM-5-Zn zeolite catalysts

Applied Catalysis, 1985
The zinc-exchanged (ZSM-5-Zn) and proton-exchanged (ZSM-5-H) forms of ZSM-5 zeolite have been studied for the conversion of propane to aromatic hydrocarbons at temperatures in the range 730-820 K. ZSM-5-Zn was the more active and gave the better BTX selectivity (60-70C%). Other reaction products were C1C2 hydrocarbons and C9+ aromatics.

Removal of elemental mercury from simulated flue gas by ZSM-5 modified with Mn-Fe mixed oxides

Chemical Engineering Journal, 2019
Zeolite (ZSM-5), as a kind of carbon-free sorbent or catalyst, has been widely applied in many fields due to its big surface area, good chemical and thermal stability, and excellent adsorption performance.

Transformation of butanes over ZSM-5 zeolites. Part 2.—Formation of aromatic hydrocarbons over Zn-ZSM-5 and Ga-ZSM-5

J. Chem. Soc., Faraday Trans., 1991
Selectivities for aromatic hydrocarbons in the transformation of butanes are greatly enhanced by incorporating zinc or gallium cations into H-ZSM-5. This work is concerned with the activation of butanes over Zn-ZSM-5 and Ga-ZSM-5 at 773 K. The zinc and gallium cations serve as catalysts for dehydrogenation of the starting alkanes.

The synthesis of ZSM-5 and Theta-1 in the presence of diethanolamine: Theoretical modeling of ZSM-5

Zeolites, 1995
Abstract The synthesis of zeolites from gels comprising silica, alumina, potassium and/or sodium hydroxide or chloride, diethanolamine, and water has been studied previously, and several zeolites including Theta-1 and ZSM-5 were synthesized. Diethanolamine was considered to have both a pore-filling role and charge-compensatory role (if the amine ...

Catalytic fast pyrolysis of torrefied corn cob to aromatic hydrocarbons over Ni-modified hierarchical ZSM-5 catalyst.

Bioresource Technology, 2019
Catalytic fast pyrolysis (CFP) of torrefied corn cob using Ni-modified hierarchical ZSM-5 catalyst was conducted in this study. The prepared catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption and desorption (N2-BET), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and temperature ...

Synthesis and characterization of M‐ZSM‐5 composites prepared from ZSM‐5 zeolite

Asia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, 2008
AbstractMicromesoporous M‐ZSM‐5 composites were hydrothermally synthesized by the self‐assembly of precursors, alkali‐treated ZSM‐5 nanoparticles, with CTMABr surfactant in alkaline media and characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption, Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) etc.

Novel hollow beads of carboxymethyl cellulose/ZSM-5/ZIF-8 for dye removal from aqueous solution in batch and continuous fixed bed systems.

International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, 2020
Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks are a class of metal-organic frameworks that are topologically isomorphic with zeolites. In this study, bionanocomposites of carboxymethyl cellulose-based ZSM-5/zeolitic imidazolate framework (CMC/ZSM-5/ZIF-8) hollow beads
