Electronic dynamics and frequency-dependent effects in circularly polarized strong-field physics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We analyze, quantum mechanically, the dynamics of ionization with a strong, circularly polarized, laser field. We show that the main source for non-adiabatic effects is connected to an effective barrier lowering due to the laser frequency.

Improved Efficiency of Two‐Stage Partial Power Processing Architectures for Inductive Power Transfer

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper proposes a high‐efficiency two‐stage inductive power transfer (IPT) system with partial power processing to reduce energy losses in conventional cascaded architectures. By processing only partial power through the DC/DC converter, the system minimizes losses, lowers component stress, and improves power density.

A Novel Choice Procedure of Magnetic Component Values for Phase Shifted Full Bridge Converters with a Variable Dead-Time Control Method

open access: yesEnergies, 2015
Magnetic components are important parts of the phase shifted full bridge (PSFB) converter. During the dead-time of switches located in the same leg, the converter can achieve zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) by using the energies stored in magnetic ...

Mitigation of Current Distortion for GaN-Based CRM Totem-Pole PFC Rectifier With ZVS Control

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics, 2021
The GaN-based critical conduction mode (CRM) totem-pole power factor correction (PFC) converter with full-line-cycle zero voltage switching (ZVS) is a promising candidate for high-efficiency front-end rectifiers.

Design and Implementation of Modular Transmitter Tracks for Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer Systems With Stable Coupling and Outputs

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study proposes a modular transmitter track design for LCC‐LCC compensated dynamic wireless power transfer systems to mitigate coupling variations during receiver movement. The partially overlapping coils ensure consistent power transfer along different trajectories, with measured current fluctuations below 6.3%.

Research on Full‐Duplex Data Transfer Simultaneously Based on Wireless Power System

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The power transfer of the proposed system uses a bilateral LCC‐type high‐order compensation network. The data injecting circuit (TX1 and TX2) is connected in series to the power circuit through the data coupling transformers Tdt1 and Tdt2, and the data extracting circuit (TR1 and TR2) is connected in parallel to power coils.
