Long-term monitoring of geodynamic surface deformation using SAR interferometry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Thesis (Ph.D.) University of Alaska Fairbanks, 2014Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (InSAR) is a powerful tool to measure surface deformation and is well suited for surveying active volcanoes using historical and existing satellites.

Analysis of the Synergistic Effect of Water Vapor, Thermodynamics, and Dynamics of the Heavy Rainfall Over Henan Province, China in July 2021

open access: yesMeteorological Applications, Volume 32, Issue 5, September/October 2025.
In this study, a record‐breaking rainfall is analyzed based on the observation data and reanalysis data. The overlay of precipitation provided by both dynamic delivery from the southeast and cloud microphysical production over Zhengzhou was the main cause of the rainfall under the background of an atypical weak environmental field. ABSTRACT During July

Accuracy Assessment and Rainfall Intensity Response Mechanisms in GNSS Real‐Time PPP Water Vapor Retrieval: Coupling Effects of Multi‐Source Real‐Time Products and Meteorological Conditions

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 12, Issue 9, September 2025.
Abstract The Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) real‐time Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technology offers a highly efficient approach for atmospheric Precipitable Water Vapor (PWV) monitoring and extreme weather warning. However, its retrieval accuracy is limited by the performance of orbit and clock products, as well as the coupling effects ...

2‐D Kinematic Restoration of the Western Tauern Window, Eastern Alps Using Thermochronological and P‐T Constraints

open access: yesTectonics, Volume 44, Issue 7, July 2025.
Abstract The Penninic and Subpenninic nappe stack of the Tauern Window (TW) in the European Alps was formed by collision between Europe (Subpenninic) and the Adria margin (Austroalpine), and finally exhumed by the northward push of the Southalpine Dolomites indenter in the Miocene. In this study, we kinematically restore a cross‐section along the trace

A Self‐Assembling LYTAC Mediates CTGF Degradation and Remodels Inflammatory Tumor Microenvironment for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 23, June 20, 2025.
A CTGF‐LYTAC nanoplatform is developed to selectively degrade connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC), inhibiting TGF‐β signaling and cell interactions in the tumor microenvironment (TME). This strategy effectively suppresses tumor growth and metastasis, outperforming antibody‐based therapy.

The Role of Food from Natural Resources in Reducing Vulnerability to Poverty: A Case Study from Zimbabwe [PDF]

open access: yes
Vulnerability to poverty is a major problem in the rural areas of Sub Saharan Africa. Rural Households are confronted with various covariate and idiosyncratic shocks and are often severely constrained in coping with such events. They frequently resort to

Comparison of GPS slant wet delays acquired by different techniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper discusses the quality of slant wet delays (SWD) computed from GPS measurements. The SWDs are generally used as input data for GPS tomography, which allows the three-dimensional reconstruction of water vapour distribution in the atmosphere ...

Analysing the Zenith Tropospheric Delay estimates in on-line Precise Point Positioning (PPP) services and PPP software packages [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
As Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals travel through the troposphere, a tropospheric delay occurs due to a change in the refractive index of the medium.

Correcting Non‐Tidal Atmospheric and Oceanic Loading Displacements at the Observation, Normal Equation, and Parameter Levels in GNSS Data Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 130, Issue 6, June 2025.
Abstract Non‐tidal loading (NTL) introduces surface deformation on the Earth and increases the variability in coordinates measured by space geodetic techniques. Correcting NTL displacements in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) analysis has been discussed extensively, commonly at the parameter level.

Effect of phase centre variation on tropospheric delay in PPP‐AR with low‐cost global navigation satellite systems receiver and antenna

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
As low‐cost global navigation satellite systems receiver and antenna become increasingly prevalent for water vapour monitoring, precise millimetre‐level characterisation of instrument biases is crucial for maintaining measurement accuracy and reliability.
