Zero Waste Discharge (ZWD) for Dairy and Cheese Effluent: Single-Stage Vacuum Recovery of Water, Lactose, Fat and Casein via Arbok-Milk

open access: yes
The global dairy and cheese industry discharges one of the most oxygen-demanding effluent streams on Earth. Cheese-making alone generates over 100 million tonnes of whey per year (estimates ~115-180 Mt), of which roughly 47% is released directly to sewers and watercourses.

A Spatial Sliding Window-Based Grid Model for Direct Retrieval GNSS Precipitable Water Vapor from Zenith Wet Delay

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
High-spatiotemporal-resolution precipitable water vapor (PWV) derived from global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) is a critical parameter for meteorological monitoring and numerical weather prediction.
