野生动物学报, 2014 为探索成都动物园未来保护教育工作的发展方向和路线,在成都对4所中小学中年龄在6～14岁的339名学生进行了问卷调查。问卷调查了学生在保护教育态度、环境信息获得以及关注动物园等几个方面的情况。并提出发展当地环境保护教育的3点建议:(1)教育政策对于环境保护的引导,让保护教育成为素质教育的必修课;(2)保护教育专业队伍的建立与发展;(3)联合学校开发适应地方性特色的环境保护教育学校教材。

野生动物学报, 2014 利用SWOT方法,对温州动物园开展保护教育活动的优劣势、面临的机会和威胁进行了分析和概括,提出了提升保护教育活动的有效性的5项对策:挖掘动物的情感资源,培养人们对野生动物的情感联系,塑造公众对野生动物的价值观; 组建动物保护教育部门,配备专职的专业技术人员和志愿者队伍; 建立动物饲养员、兽医、营养师等一线专业人员介入保护教育活动的长效机制; 寻求与学校等教育机构的合作,开展更为精确的保护教育活动; 选择身边公众关注的野生动物保护教育题材,提升保护教育的针对性,提高保护教育活动的有效性。
