肠道是动物机体重要的消化吸收器官,肠道微生物在宿主的免疫代谢、营养吸收、行为等方面起着十分重要的作用。因此,动物肠道微生物研究正成为动物生态学和保护生物学的热点领域。为了给爬行动物的健康及后续肠道微生物研究提供科学参考,综述了爬行动物肠道微生物的研究手段、分布特点和影响因素。研究表明,爬行动物肠道微生物具有区段差异性和易受寄主生殖状态、饮食、环境和行为等因素影响的特点,现阶段研究手段以高通量测序技术为主。
