Carbon Dots With Concurrently Tunable Photoluminescence and Nanozyme Activity for Agricultural Stress Resistance: A Carbonization Degree‐Mediated Strategy

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 10, October 2026.
Carbonization degree is established as a unified structural parameter that synergistically governs the photoluminescence and SOD‐like activity of CDs. Progressive carbonization generates sp2‐conjugated domains where edge‐site carbonyl groups act as catalytic sites for SOD‐like activity.

Artificial Intelligence in Gastric Cancer: Diagnostic, Prognostic, and Predictive Developments, Evidence Maturity, and Translational Challenges

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Gastric cancer (GC) remains a major global health burden characterized by substantial heterogeneity in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response. Artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), has been increasingly investigated for the analysis of endoscopic images, radiological scans, whole‐

Functional Profiles of Fish Gut Microbiota Associated With Feeding Habits in the Midstream of the Jialing River Under Cascade Channelization

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2026.
This study investigates how feeding habits shape the gut microbiota of fish inhabiting the channelized middle reaches of the Jialing River. Using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and PICRUSt2 analysis, we compared the gut microbial communities of carnivorous, omnivorous, and herbivorous fish.

Characterization of the First Complete Plastome of Zingiber emeiense: Insights Into Its Phylogenetic Position

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2026.
This study assembled the first complete chloroplast genome of the endemic medicinal plant Zingiber emeiense, revealing its genomic structure and evolutionary features as well as clarifying its phylogenetic placement. It further provides valuable genomic resources for the conservation and taxonomic research of this endemic species.
