Trace Mo Doping in NaMnO2 Cathode Materials for High‐Capacity Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 10, Page 4883-4890, October 2026.
Mo‐doping demonstrates great potential in promoting energy intensity. NaMn0.99Mo0.01O2 shows an average working voltage of 3.0 V and an initial capacity of 183.7 mAh g−1 at 0.2 C. It has a remarkable specific capacity of 138.1 mAh g−1 and 84.7% capacity retention over 100 cycles even at 1 C.

Rapid Detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae in Infants With Severe Infection Disease by Instant Nanofluorescent Microspheres‐Immunochromatography Combined With Recombinase Polymerase Isothermal Amplification Technology

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, Volume 40, Issue 20, October 2026.
Schematic illustration of the RPA‐FICTS platform for rapid detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae in infants. Genomic DNA extracted from clinical samples is amplified by recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) targeting the mdh gene at 37°C, and the biotin‐ and digoxigenin‐labeled amplicons are subsequently detected on a nanofluorescent microsphere ...

Ecological Network Characteristics of Cultivated Land Carbon Flows in Major Grain‐Producing Regions: Case Study of Jingzhou City, China

open access: yesLand Degradation &Development, Volume 37, Issue 16, Page 11848-11866, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Land‐use changes related to cultivated land significantly affect the regional carbon budget in major grain‐producing regions, yet the ecological network characteristics of cultivated land carbon flows remain insufficiently understood. This study developed an integrated framework that combined ecological network analysis with spatial analysis ...

Functionalized Silica‐Constructed Self‐Supporting Composite Separator for Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Lithium metal batteries (LMBs) are considered highly promising next‐generation energy storage systems owing to their exceptionally high theoretical specific capacity and ultralow electrochemical potential. Nevertheless, the practical deployment of LMBs is still severely restricted by the uncontrollable formation and propagation of lithium ...

Global Inequality and Potential Trade‐Offs in Community Resilience to Compound Climate Extremes

open access: yesEarth's Future, Volume 14, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract The resilience of human society to multiple climate disasters is crucial for supporting sustainable development progress and promoting human well‐being in an era of climate change. Yet little research has attempted to assess global spatial‐explicit capacity of communities to deal with compound extreme climate disasters simultaneously, and the ...

Abandoning Assertiveness: Assessing Foreign Policy Change in Indonesia's Response to Sea‐Based Incursions

open access: yesAsian Politics &Policy, Volume 18, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Indonesia's responses to Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing (IUUF) shifted from assertive measures such as publicly bombing and sinking illegal ships to legal, educational, and cooperative measures. The changes in policies undertaken are puzzling, given that Indonesian policymakers' perception of IUUF has remained the same between ...
