Cancer Science, EarlyView.SETX maintains R‐loop homeostasis by resolving excessive R‐loops, thereby promoting tumor initiation and chemoresistance. Deficiency of SETX leads to accumulation of unsolved pathological R‐loops, resulting in irreparable DNA damage and ultimately leading to tumor suppression and chemosensitivity.
