中国是小天鹅的重要越冬地,小天鹅是我国II级重点保护野生动物。在越冬过程中,由于各种原因,很多小天鹅会被救助。研究以被救助小天鹅为对象,于2015年11~12月期间采用瞬时观察法对救助小天鹅行为节律进行研究。结果表明:救助小天鹅的主要行为包括6大类型21种形式。其中取食、清理和静止行为所占比例较高; 小天鹅在9:00行为类型最多,达到了6种,而在8:00只有3种; 取食行为有3个高峰时间段,分别为8:00、12:00、16:00,清理行为在10:00为其峰值,运动行为主要发生在上午,静止行为多发生在下午,

以广州动物园圈养的印度黑羚羊种群为研究对象,从2006年1月1日起,至2009年12月31日止,经过4a时间对印度黑羚羊产仔哺乳行为进行观察。在观察中发现印度黑羚羊分娩前有选择分娩地点行为,但提前离群行为不明显;产仔后有较强的母性,表现为有明显的护仔行为、主动授乳行为和念亲行为;在受惊吓和不安的情况下,会出现弃仔行为。

利用样线法调查了鸡西机场周边苍鹭的分布及数量,对栖息在机场西南穆棱河旁的苍鹭进行了活动规律和行为节律的观察,在2011年10月3~7日,通过定点连续观察法记录苍鹭的日活动节律。研究结果显示,苍鹭飞行行为高峰值出现在6:00~8:30、12:00~13:00和15:30~17:00,苍鹭日常各种行为中休息行为、站立行为和理羽行为所占时间比例最高,为82%,晒翅行为在9:00~10:00达到高峰,为31%,其平均飞行高度为65 m,即对机场航班有一定威胁,应引起有关部门注意。
