Hobbyist preferences for pet freshwater turtles

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 2, April 2026.
Abstract The burgeoning pet trade is a primary threat to wild freshwater turtles worldwide. Although the risks from commercial exploitation of turtles have been discussed widely, there is little empirical research on preferences for pet turtles from a hobbyists’ perspective.

Balancing Innovation and Control: Public Views on Risks and Governance of AI in Political Communication

open access: yesPolicy &Internet, Volume 18, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT With the rise of AI, concerns about its potential for manipulation in political communication have intensified, accompanied by discussions about regulatory measures. Research has explored perceptions of risks and preferences regarding AI use and regulations among the general population, and in fields such as journalism.

Evolution of research on global amphibian declines

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract In the late 1980s, the scientific community became aware of severe, enigmatic amphibian population declines. These declines triggered a wave of research focused on quantifying their extent and identifying key drivers. We used text‐analysis techniques, including topic modeling and geoparsing, to examine the evolution of research focused on ...

Weaving knowledges to support wildlife health surveillance in Kenya's pastoral rangelands

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 40, Issue 1, February 2026.
Abstract In wildlife–livestock–human interfaces, pathogens capable of spreading between wild and domestic animals and humans have important implications for conservation outcomes, economics, and public health. Robust wildlife health surveillance can help address these risks.

Impact of fetal and maternal characteristics on the accuracy and precision of sonographic fetal weight estimation: population‐based study

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, Volume 66, Issue 6, Page 747-753, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective Ultrasound‐based fetal growth assessment is an essential part of clinical decision‐making in modern obstetric care. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of maternal and fetal characteristics on the accuracy and precision of sonographic fetal weight estimation.

Video Assistant Referee(ndums): A Populist Weapon or Effective Tool to Stop Autocrats in Competitive Authoritarian Regimes in Latin America?

open access: yesLatin American Policy, Volume 16, Issue 4, December 2025.
ABSTRACT In recent years, video assistant referee systems have been increasingly used to correct unfair decisions in sports. Similarly, I argue that constitutional referendums play a corrective role in hybrid or competitive authoritarian regimes, where the electoral referee is biased and the government enjoys unfair advantages.

Profiles of parental reflective functioning and mind‐mindedness in first‐time parents of 4‐month‐old infants

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 46, Issue 6, Page 870-885, November 2025.
Abstract Profiles of parental reflective functioning (PRF) may offer valuable insights into individual differences in PRF. Previous studies have identified PRF profiles; however, further validation is needed. This study aimed to investigate the convergent validity of the identified PRF profiles by examining their association with a related measure of ...

Reproductive outcome after frozen embryo transfer with hormone replacement therapy according to luteal‐phase support protocol: systematic review and network meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, Volume 66, Issue 4, Page 422-432, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare reproductive outcome between luteal‐phase support (LPS) protocols for frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles with hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Methods A search was conducted in MEDLINE, Scopus, LILACS, EMBASE, Scielo.br, PROSPERO, CINAHL, PsycINFO, AMED, ClinicalTrials.gov, ICTRP, the Cochrane Library and conference ...

强风作用下复合空心绝缘子的电场计算

open access: yesGaoya dianqi, 2020

open access: yesGaoya dianqi, 2022
