Excited 0+ states in156,158,160,162 Gd
Excited K?=0+ states in 156,158,160,162 Gd isotopes are studied by using the pairing plus quadrupole model (PPQ). To determine the nature and the general trend of the properties of these states depending on the neutron number, B(E2), ?2(E0) values and ...

Photoproduction of the 1.6 GeV ?0?0 state
We calculate the photoproduction cross section for the 1.6 GeV state recently observed in γγ collisions. The integrated cross section forxF>0 could be 500nb at 50 GeV, and therefore the state should be detectable in existing photoproduction experiments.

Spin-polarized surface state of MnSb(0 0 0 1)
Knowledge of the spin-dependent electronic structure at surfaces and interfaces plays an increasingly important role when assessing possible use of novel magnetic materials for spintronic applications. It is shown that spin- and angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy together with ab initio electronic structure methods provides a full ...

Chemically Accurate 0–0 Energies with Not-so-Accurate Excited State Geometries [PDF]
Using a series of increasingly refined wavefunction methods able to tackle electronic excited states, namely ADC(2), CC2, CCSD, CCSDR(3) and CC3, we investigate the interplay between geometries and 0-0 energies. We show that, due to a strong and nearly systematic error cancelation between the vertical transition and geometrical reorganization energies,

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

0+ states and collective bands in deformed actinide nuclei [PDF]
By means of the (p, t) reaction we studied the excitation spectra of 0+ states in the deformed nuclei 228Th, 230Th, and 232U, using the Q3D magnetic spectrograph facility at the Munich tandem accelerator.

ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.

We apply the method of QCD sum rules to study the $$s s {\bar{s}} {\bar{s}}$$ sss¯s¯ tetraquark states of $$J^{PC} = 0^{-+}$$ JPC=0-+ . We construct all the relevant $$s s {\bar{s}} {\bar{s}}$$ sss¯s¯ tetraquark currents, and find that there are only two

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
