Observation of 0+ states in 118Cd and the systematics of intruder states
Abstract The structure of 118 Cd was studied through the decay of 118 Ag by angular correlation, γ-γ coincidence, and γ-multiscaling measurements. The results showed the existence and E2 decay properties of two new 0 + states at 1285.8 and 1615.0 keV. They were interpreted in terms of a schematic model calculation of all the even Cd isotopes which

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

IntroductionThe presence of a neurodevelopmental disability (ND) represents an adverse condition for child’s development and parent–child relationship, and it is reasonable to assume that the severity of delay may influence parenting behavior.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Production and Decay of Omega_c^0
We present an analysis of inclusive {Omega}{sub c}{sup 0} baryon production and decays in 230.5 fb{sup -1} of data recorded with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e{sup +}e{sup -} collider at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center ...

To the nature of 0+ excitations in deformed nuclei of actinides
The excitation spectra in the deformed nucleus 232U have been studied by means of the (p, t) reaction. 0+ assignments for 13 excited states and up to spin 6+ for other states are made from the angular distributions of tritons and the coupled-channel ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Λ-Type doubling parameters for molecules in Δ electronic states
An effective Hamiltonian has been developed for the Λ doubling in Δ electronic states, and its matrix elements are given for Δ states up to quintet spin multiplicity.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Spectroscopy of 232U in the (p, t) reaction: Experimental data
The excitation spectra in the deformed nucleus 232U have been studied by means of the (p, t) reaction, using the Q3D spectrograph facility at the Munich Tandem accelerator.
