THE CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF 1-(2-THIAZOLYLAZO)-2-NAPHTHOL

Chemistry Letters, 1974
Abstract Crystal and molecular structure of 1-(2-thiazolylazo)-2-naphthol has been determined by X-ray analysis. Evidence for the coexistence of the azo and hydrazone tautomer was obtained.

Rapid spectrophotometric determination of vanadium(V) with 1-(2′-thiazolylazo)-2-naphthol

Microchemical Journal, 1987
Abstract The sparingly soluble complex formed between vanadium(V) and 4-(2-thiazolylazo)resorcinol ( 5 ) requires extraction with chloroform, whereas maximum color development for the complex with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol ( 4 ) takes place after 60 min.
