NMR studies of protein structures require knowledge of spectral assignments through correlation spectroscopy and the measurement of dipolar interactions by NOESY-type experiments. In order to obtain NOEs for protons with degenerate chemical shifts, which is particularly common for large proteins with significant helical content, 3D and 4D 15N/15N ...

Syntheses of [1-15N]-2′-Deoxyinosine, [4-15N]-2′-DeoxyAICAR, and [1-15N]-2′-Deoxyguanosine
European Journal of Organic Chemistry, 1999A high-yield synthesis of [1-15N]-2′-deoxyinosine (5), [4-15N]-2′-deoxyAICAR (7), and [1-15N]-2′-deoxyguanosine (10) from 2′-deoxyinosine (1) using relatively low expensive 15NH3 as 15N source is described. The method exploits 2-C reactivity of 2′-deoxyinosine (1) to obtain its 15N-labelled counterpart, through [1-15N]-2′-deoxyinosine (5), and ...

The simultaneous acquisition of a 4D gradient-enhanced and sensitivity-enhanced [13C,15N]/[15N,15N]-separated NOESY is presented for the 74-residue [13C,15N]-labeled N-terminal SH3 domain of mGrb2 complexed with a peptide fragment from mSOS-2 in 90% H2O.

Abstract 15 N 15 N and 15 N 13 C spin-spin couplings are reported for seven 15 N labeled 1-oxa and 1-thia-2,3,4-triazoles and three sydnonimines. For the former class of compounds the spin-spin coupling data show a close similarity between the N2N3 and N3N4 bonds which had not previously been suspected from chemical shift measurements.

Investigation of 15N by the reactions 11B(7Li, t)15N and 10B(7Li, d)15N
Nuclear Physics A, 1976Abstract The 15N nucleus was investigated by two reactions at 24 MeV bombarding energy. The angular distributions were analysed by direct reaction and compound nucleus reaction model. The level structure of 15N up to 17 MeV could be explained in the presently known framework.
