A study of 15N15N and 15N13C spin couplings in some 15N labeled mesoionic 1-oxa and 1-thia-2,3,4-triazoles

Abstract 15 N 15 N and 15 N 13 C spin-spin couplings are reported for seven 15 N labeled 1-oxa and 1-thia-2,3,4-triazoles and three sydnonimines. For the former class of compounds the spin-spin coupling data show a close similarity between the N2N3 and N3N4 bonds which had not previously been suspected from chemical shift measurements.
