Dual‐Target Nectin‐4/FAP Heterobivalent Probe 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1 for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer: Preclinical Theranostic Evaluation and First‐in‐Human Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel hetero‐bivalent agent, 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1, concurrently targets Nectin‐4 and FAP in triple‐negative breast cancer. It yields significant preclinical tumor regression and clinically identifies additional metastatic lesions missed by 18F‐FDG PET, demonstrating promising theranostic potential for personalized management.

Radiosynthesis and use of [18F]F2 derivatives [18F]Selectfluor bis(triflate) and [18F]ClF [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Positroniemissiotomografia (PET) on kajoamaton kuvantamismenetelmä, jolla voidaan tutkia biologisia ja farmakologisia prosesseja elävissä ihmisissä ja eläimissä. PET käyttää biologisesti aktiivisia yhdisteitä, joihin on liitetty lyhytikäinen positroni (β+

Molecular Imaging of Microglial Activation in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
There is growing evidence of activated microglia and inflammatory processes in the cerebral cortex in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Activated microglia is characterized by increased expression of the 18 kDa translocator protein (TSPO) in the brain

Multimodal Imaging of Hypoxia, Metabolism and pH in Feline Sarcoma Using Hyperpolarized 13C MRI and PET

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a clinically deployable simultaneous PET/MRI workflow which integrates hyperpolarized 13C imaging of metabolism and extracellular pH with [18F]FMISO PET to characterize hypoxia, acidosis, and metabolic reprogramming in feline sarcoma.

Automated radiosynthesis of 18F-fluoromethylated tracers using the simplified one-pot 18F-fluoromethylation via [18F]fluoromethyl tosylate.

open access: yes, 2022
Background/Aims: [18F]Fluoroalkyl groups are essential labeling units because they are considered as surrogates for [11C]methyl moieties, and are coupled to the same functional units as the [11C]methyl group.

Granzyme B PET Imaging Reveals Lgmn+ Macrophage‐Mediated Immune Evasion and Guides Immunotherapy in EGFR‐TKI‐Resistant NSCLC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphical illustration of 68Ga‐GZB PET/CT imaging reveals immune dynamics post‐EGFR‐TKI resistance in NSCLC; Lgmn+ macrophages‐derived Lgmn‐containing extracellular vesicles inhibit glycolysis, induce CD8+ T cell exhaustion, and targeting Lgmn restores immunotherapy sensitivity.

Optimal 18F-fluorination conditions for the high radiochemical yield of [18F]AlF-NOTA-NHS complexes

open access: yes, 2021
18F-fluorination using aluminum-fluoride ([18F]AlF) chelate technique has been reported to give a low-to-moderate radiochemical yield, between 5 and 20%. Therefore, the work described here outlines the optimum 18F-fluorination condition for the formation

Mitochondrial Protection and Neural Repair via ROS‐Responsive Biomimetic Nanoparticles in Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A ROS‐responsive biomimetic nanoparticle platform co‐delivers DIDS and Mdivi‐1 to protect mitochondria and promote neural repair after intracerebral hemorrhage. By targeting LPAR1/VDAC1‐related mitochondrial dysfunction, the nanotherapy reduces oxidative injury, neuronal apoptosis, and blood‐brain barrier disruption, improving neurological recovery and

A Practical Method for the Preparation of 18F-Labeled Aromatic Amino Acids from Nucleophilic [18F]Fluoride and Stannyl Precursors for Electrophilic Radiohalogenation

open access: yesMolecules, 2017
In a recent contribution of Scott et al., the substrate scope of Cu-mediated nucleophilic radiofluorination with [18F]KF for the preparation of 18F-labeled arenes was extended to aryl- and vinylstannanes.
