Efeito do armazenamento da calda na eficácia de herbicidas aplicados em: I. pós-emergência Effect of storage time of diluted herbicides mix on their effectiveness: I. pós-emergency herbicides

open access: yesPlanta Daninha, 1998
Diferentes tipos de pulverizadores são utilizados para a aplicação de herbicidas sendo que, em pequenas propriedades, é comum, por questões econômicas, a adaptação de barras ou pistolas manuais a tanques de grande capacidade.

Abnormalities in somatic embryogenesis caused by 2,4-D: an overview

open access: yesPlant Cell Tissue and Organ Culture, 2019
Somatic embryogenesis is a morphogenetic event where somatic cells have the ability to produce embryos without gamete fusion. It is used as a technique for plant mass propagation.

Removal of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid by Calcined Zn–Al–Zr Layered Double Hydroxide [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The adsorption equilibrium, kinetics, and thermodynamics of removal of 2,4-dichlorophenoxy-acetic acid (2,4-D) from aqueous solutions by a calcined Zn–Al layered double hydroxide incorporated with Zr4+ were studied with respect to time, temperature, pH ...

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

The Association Between 2, 4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid and Erectile Dysfunction

open access: yesFrontiers in Public Health, 2022
Background2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) is one of the most frequently used herbicides in the world, and it has been linked with low testosterone; however, studies regarding its effect on erectile function are limited. The current study aimed to

C2α‐carbanion‐protonating glutamate discloses tradeoffs between substrate accommodation and reaction rate in actinobacterial 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

2,4-D attenuates salinity-induced toxicity by mediating anatomical changes, antioxidant capacity and cation transporters in the roots of rice cultivars

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Growth regulator herbicides are widely used in paddy fields to control weeds, however their role in conferring environmental stress tolerance in the crop plants are still elusive.

Control of Variable Watermilfoil in Bashan Lake, CT with 2,4-D: Monitoring of Lake and Well Water. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Variable watermilfoil (Myriophyllum heterophyllum Michx.) has recently become a problem in Bashan Lake, East Haddam, CT, USA. By 1998, approximately 4 ha of the 110 ha lake was covered with variable watermilfoil. In 1999, the milfoil was spot treated

Effectiveness and Safety of Baricitinib for Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis–Associated Uveitis or Chronic Anterior Antinuclear Antibody–Positive Uveitis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of baricitinib in pediatric patients with active juvenile idiopathic arthritis–associated uveitis (JIA‐U) or chronic anterior antinuclear antibody–positive uveitis, who had an inadequate response to methotrexate (MTX) or biologic disease‐modifying antirheumatic drugs (bDMARDs).
